Left 4 Dead

Having played a fair bit of this on the PC via a download from Steam I decided yesterday to rekindle my ailing love for the 360! Oh what joy this game has brought…why? Versus mode!

I met up with Dicco, Sir Jivealot and SGT Tiddles (who I had not met before but was great to game with) and after some teething troubles we set on our merry way to Versus-land. Now I must explain that I had not played this before so was asking loads of daft questions but the guys helped me no end…so cheers folks. The basic premise is this…2 teams of 4 players, one team are the survivors and one team are the ‘infected’. The game for the survivors roles along much like the campaign mode apart from one small thing the big and bad infected are actually players from the other team, so the Boomer, Hunter and Smoker are spawing players who are there to do one thing…reek havoc on your game and make your life a misery. What a brilliant way to play a head to head game!

It was a great night of gaming and I have organised another for tonight…so some unsuspecting ‘unwashed’ will be clawed, vomited on and generally annihilated
